Bobby Madison, a 6’5” forward, attended Shelby County High School (Alabama), Southern Union Community College, and Western Michigan University. Bobby was a key member of the 05 BC Knights team that went undefeated, 21-0, and won the inaugural IBL championship that season. After playing with the Knights in 2005, Bobby has gained professional basketball playing experience in Chile, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Uruguay. Bobby is returning for his fourth season to wear the orange and black with the Battle Creek Knights.

 

Rickey Willis, a 6’0” guard, attended Detroit Mackenzie High School and Western Michigan University. Rickey has been a part of two championships teams in his playing career. In 2004, he was a part of the WMU Broncos men’s college basketball team that won the MAC Championship. In 2005, Rickey was a member of the Battle Creek Knights 21-0, IBL Championship squad. Rickey’s WMU career playing days was between 2001-2005 and he was the Broncos assist leader during the 2004-2005 season. This will be Rickey’s fourth full season with the Knights.

 

Duke Cleveland, a 6’9” forward, attended Plainwell High School and Grand Valley State University. Duke was a floor leader in his time playing at GVSU. Duke ended his college career being the leader in minutes played, rebounds, block shots, and point per game average, while playing for the GVSU Lakers. Duke played the 2006 season with the arch rival, Grand Rapids Flight, and was named an IBL All Star player last season.  Duke also has spent time playing professionally for the Michigan Mayhem (Muskegon) of the CBA.  This will be Duke’s second season with the Battle Creek Knights.
